The minor version release VistaDB 6.2 is now available to download through the customer portal.  This release primarily addresses:

• Performance improvement to locking infrastructure--particularly in SingleProcessReadWrite mode (the default when not specified).
• Fixes a problem opening encrypted databases in .NET Core or .NET 5 applications on some systems.
• Corrects some API inconsistency with ADO.NET specification for ExecuteScalar()'s handling of null values and also in the data type for @@IDENTITY and Scope_Identity().  This is a minor breaking change for some usage of these features.
